Tim Shafer is the owner and builder of Shafer Family Homes, LLC. We are a Harborcreek based new home construction business that servers the greater Erie area. Tim graduated from Harbor Creek High School in 1996 and attended Penn State The Behrend Campus. Tim worked full-time for his dad’s new home construction business where he learned the ground to roof process of building a new home. Tim earned his real estate license in 1999, at the age of 21, and is an integral member of the Howard Hanna Team. Tim’s real estate experience enables him to know the local market and put that knowledge to work when building custom and spec homes.

From an early age, Tim joined his dad at many job sites; he worked summers in the field, which has made him a very experienced builder. The Shafer family has built hundreds of homes in some of Harborcreek’s finest neighborhoods, such as Fox Hollow, Foxwood, and Walten Woods.

Tim and his wife Katie, reside in Harborcreek. She has taken on the role of Marketing Director and is not afraid to get dirty when needed on the job site! When Tim is not working, he enjoys listening to scanners, washing cars, vacationing in St. Martin and having wings with his buddies. Tim’s goals are to offer high quality affordable homes that will bring many years of happiness to his customers.
